Written for ages 12 and above, this biblical study follows the promises of God regarding the Christ. It is based on a musical presentation of the Scriptures, by Walter J. Cummins, the oratorio, “God’s Promised Seed, the Christ.” Beginning with God's first promise of the Seed of the woman in Genesis 3:15, this study takes us through the promises God made to Abraham, to King David, and to all Israel by the prophets, including selections from the earthly life and ministry of Jesus Christ, God's Son, as he fulfilled what his Father, God had promised. The redemption and salvation of the people of the world lay in the Christ’s choosing to do what God had promised and declared needed to be done. Resources, puzzles, games, and activities are included to help build understanding for young people and families wanting to learn about this exciting subject. May this study of God’s promises and Jesus Christ’s fulfillment of what God set forth in His Word, help communicate the loving plan that God set in motion ages ago.
